MBVM

Cross Country

Each fall, students in grades 4-8 take to the roads and compete on the MBVM Cross Country team coached by Mr. John Bevis. All students are invited to participate, i.e. this is a no-cut sport that allows each individual to experience the joy of personal achievement and  cardiovascular exercise while participating in a high-spirited sport with great comraderie. 

Two highlights  of the season are the Wildcat XC Invitational hosted by MBVM at Perry Farm and the Irish Classic hosted by Bishop McNamara High School at Kankakee Community College.

The 2008 season begins on August 4th with practice at Perry Farm from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Meet at the Perry Farm Gazebo. Bring water/gatorade and running shoes (no basketball shoes).

Friday September 5 @ St. Paul (4:00 pm start at all St. Paul's meets)

Friday September 12 @ St. Paul

Wednesday September 17 @ Perry Farm (Wildcat Invitational) Boys' race begins at 4:30 pm; followed by girls.

Friday September 19 @ St. Paul

NOTE DATE CHANGE: Wednesday October 1st @ KCC (Irish Classic) Girls' race begins at 4:30 pm; boys'     race at 5:00 pm.
