Admissions Information
• Admissions Policy
Maternity B.V.M. School gives first preference in admission to Catholic students of families registered in .Maternity BVM Parish; secondly, to Catholic students in other parishes; thirdly, to students of other faiths. Students are admitted to Maternity BVM School in the following order:
1. Existing school families 2. Practicing and contributing MBVM Parish families 3. Practicing and contributing members of other Catholic parishes 4. Families of other faiths
Note: Catholic families who are moving from out of town and who are enrolled in a Catholic school will be brought in at in-parish category if they enroll in parish
Within these categories, students will be admitted according to date of application. Another consideration is the student’s date of placement on the MBVM waiting list. We highly encourage interested students to be registered on our waiting list, especially at the Pre-K and Kindergarten level. All applications are evaluated for academic readiness.
Maternity BVM School operates under the auspices of the Diocese of Joliet and admits students of any race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally available to all students at the school.
