Experiment Preparation - BEFORE you begin testing

There are several steps that must be completed before starting your experiment.  Read through this list and visit www.jdstaregion11sciencefair.org to check out the IJAS Policies and Procedures to make sure you get a great start to your experiment.

• Return a SIGNED  Parent Safety and Supervision sheet before testing begins (see the Adult Supervision page)
• Experiments need teacher approval before beginning their first test.
• Use the IJAS Experiment Checklist to write Experiment Procedure.
•  
• Identify all SAFETY issues and record on IJAS safety sheet.
• Design and prepare data tables to record experiment results
• Don't forget to use METRIC measurements (SI units) 
• Include a space to record observations for each trial 
• Include a space for notes about any irregularities in the trial
• Take pictures of the experiment setup and the results. 

                      PICTURES ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL EXPERIMENTS.
