Number of Trials

Experiments should be designed to collect enough data for a reasonable conclusion.  At school, a reasonable number of trials is usually 15.  In a lab situation, scientists may use 1500 trials for a reasonable conclusion.

The more trials you complete, the more scientifically valid your experiment will be.  The type and complexity of your experiment may determine how many trials you can expect to complete.  If you are not sure, ask!
