Research - Where do I begin?

Once you have decided WHAT you want to learn about, you will need to work on the HOW and WHERE.  You will need to figure out where your idea fits into the IJAS Topic List...and this may even give you some ideas on how to proceed with your research!

Before you start to look for sources, be sure to have everything available to record information about your sources.  Remember, you must give proper credit to the scientists and authors whose information you are using, so it is very important to record their information.

Since the internet can include pages that change and update constantly, it will be very important to record the entire, exact URL (web address) of any page you wish to reference.  If you do not have the entire address, it could be difficult (or impossible) to find that page again if you need to get more information.
