Table of Results Information

The table should be designed so that other people can read the information easily.  Some questions that will help to plan the outline of the table:

  1. How will the variables be observed or measured?
  2. How many trials will be completed?
  3. What metric units are used for measurement?
  4. How frequently will the variables be measured?

Each Experiment table should include the following information:

  1. Title that explains what is being measured
  2. Variable being measured and METRIC units listed at the top columns
  3. List the Trial number
  4. Include non-quantitative observations (change in color, odor, etc.)
  5. Include space for notes about the trials (equipment fell over, temperature did not return to normal between trials, etc.) to help explain any irregularities.
