Table of Results Information
The table should be designed so that other people can read the information easily. Some questions that will help to plan the outline of the table:
-
How will the variables be observed or measured?
-
How many trials will be completed?
-
What metric units are used for measurement?
-
How frequently will the variables be measured?
Each Experiment table should include the following information:
-
Title that explains what is being measured
-
Variable being measured and METRIC units listed at the top columns
-
List the Trial number
-
Include non-quantitative observations (change in color, odor, etc.)
-
Include space for notes about the trials (equipment fell over, temperature did not return to normal between trials, etc.) to help explain any irregularities.
